Communication Is Key

Effective communication is almost always a key to success, whether in personal relationships, professional settings, or achieving goals, building trust, and resolving conflicts. Communication in home remodeling is no exception.

From the initial consultation with the client to the design and project development process, clearly communicating needs, wants, desires, and objectives will set the process up for success.

In production, maintaining a clear line of communication between the homeowner and project manager allows for a free flow of critical information while ensuring expectations meet reality. In any remodeling project, if there’s a problem, it almost always comes down to communication. Were the plans clearly communicated to the field? Did the trade or subcontractor follow instructions? Was the client informed of an unexpected discovery? If not, why not? What impact did that have on the cost of the project or the happiness of the client? The damage could be incalculable.

The best remodelers place a high value on communication and make it a priority from start to finish. Check out the DR process and how proper communication is engrained in everything we do!

Project Profile – Wine Bar

The homeowners were looking for a new custom space to store and show off their extensive wine collection. The existing butler’s pantry was terribly outdated and lacked the proper storage for the client’s needs.

With a very intentional client vision, we were able to create a custom new space that matches as close as possible to their vision. This truly is the envy of any wine enthusiast!

Wallpaper: Batman or Robin?

We love how wallpaper can transform a space. Whether the palate for an entire room or a unique accent to enhance a much more dominant aesthetic, wallpaper can be both the hero and sidekick for any new project.

Check out some examples below and how wallpaper became a key component in our portfolio of projects.
