This prestigious NARI certification is reserved for professionals who have maintained the top-tier Certified Remodeler (CR) certification for 10 years and have demonstrated involvement with their community and local NARI leaders. What’s even more exciting is that Michael joins his father, Mike Sr., as the first and only father-son MCRs in the state of North Carolina! The DiFabion Remodeling family is proud to acknowledge such an impressive achievement and a symbol of DR’s unwavering commitment to excellence in remodeling. 

DiFabion Wins Regional Remodeler of the Year

The National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) recently announced the winners of the 2025 Regional Remodeler of the Year Awards, and DR won in the category of Residential Interior $250K-$500K.

Winning entries must demonstrate outstanding functionality, problem-solving, aesthetics, craftsmanship, innovation, and degree of difficulty, among other high standards.

National RotY winners will be announced in April at this year’s Evening of Excellence in Austin, Texas, so wish us luck in taking home the top prize!

Project Profile (Part 2)

Part 2 of this Midcentury Modern whole-house remodel includes a remarkable transformation of the interior. After expanding the footprint of the home with a new addition, we were able to blow out the exterior walls and incorporate both new and old into a free-flowing, fully integrated sunroom, sitting room, laundry, and custom kitchen renovation.

In the master bathroom, we turned an inefficient, cave-like afterthought into a highly efficient, thoughtful layout, maximizing limited space and an abundance of light.
