In an ongoing quest for continual improvement, DiFabion Remodeling has been a member of Remodelers Advantage for over 10 years. Remodelers Advantage is a national peer group of remodeling contractors focused on best practices and improving the client experience.

Each year, RA hosts the National Remodelers Summit, where the best remodelers from across the country meet for an exciting week of networking and education.

This year, Michael and Scott had the opportunity to attend in beautiful San Diego, where the focus was on cultivating a strong company culture, improving production processes, and workforce development.

After several days of gathering valuable information to bring back to Charlotte, they were able to enjoy parts of the city that make San Diego unique. What an amazing trip! Check out some shots of the overall experience.

Anthony Westpy was born and raised in New Jersey, where he attended Rutgers Business School and first began estimating for a window and door company upon graduation. After moving to Charlotte three years ago, he continued working in the millwork industry before shifting gears to residential remodeling.

Anthony’s attention to detail, insatiable thirst for knowledge, and drive for team collaboration reflect the unique qualities required to succeed in the Estimator position. In his free time, Anthony enjoys trips to the mountains of North Carolina or fishing on Lake Wylie for rest and relaxation. Welcome to the DiFabion family, Anthony!

A two-time past client of DiFabion reached out when they moved to a new home in Myers Park. The existing kitchen seemed bland, with dark cabinetry and uninteresting finishes, but the overall layout wouldn’t require drastic changes. The homeowners were looking for something a little more modern and fun to reflect their unique personality.

The new kitchen features custom cabinetry, lighter finishes, stainless steel accents, and a thoughtful new lighting scheme to help accentuate the show-stopper, Explosion Blue polished quartzite countertops with waterfall edges. The transformed space, along with a custom wine bar, is now the perfect location for entertaining with a fun and exuberant new vibe!
