Project Overview

The main floor of this early 2000 craftsman home needed some serious upgrades. The homeowners were also looking to ditch the current mission style and capture a coastal casual vibe which they had grown to love in their recently sold beach house. Although their existing exterior already offered a beachy feel (hosting a curvy turquoise pool and lush tropical landscaping which butted up to a nature preserve), it wasn’t viewable from the home’s interior. And the overall dark, congested, and inefficient interior was in direct conflict with their desired airy seashore style.

By removing key partition walls, eliminating a clunky fireplace, and rearranging certain doorways, we were able to flood the house with natural light. The new finishes include custom cabinetry, quartzite tops, large format porcelain panels, and stylish new accents. Overall, the main floor went through an entire layout and style transformation, with an unobstructed and seamless flow throughout the home, and that casual coastal vibe the homeowners so desired!
